About you
A few yes/no basics
Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?*
Are you 18 years of age or older?*
Do you have a valid driver's license?*
Do you have reliable transportation to get to our shop or job sites every workday?*
This job means being outdoors in Texas heat and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Can you perform these essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation?*
Our crews generally work Monday through Friday and start early, around 6 AM, to beat the heat. Saturday is overtime as needed. Are you able to work that schedule?*
After a job offer is made, are you willing to consent to a background check and a motor vehicle record check?*
Have you been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor (other than a minor traffic offense) in the last 7 years?*

A "Yes" answer will not automatically disqualify you. Yard Dog Landscapes considers each applicant individually, looking at the nature of the offense, how long ago it occurred, and whether it relates to the duties of this job. We do not ask about arrests or charges that did not lead to a conviction. Any criminal-background check is run only after a conditional job offer, with your written consent.

Your experience
Do you have professional experience in the landscaping industry?*
Do you have commercial mowing experience (running mowing routes or crews for a business, not just mowing your own yard)?*
How many years of paid landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor labor experience do you have?*
For each piece of equipment, tell us where you honestly stand.

No shame in "never used." We would rather know now than on a trial day.

Yard Dog Landscapes is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other status protected by law. If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply or to do the job, tell us and we will work with you. A background and motor vehicle record check is run only after a job offer, with your consent. Your first day running equipment is a paid trial day.
